"Lone Parent ABLE Project” Funded by Tampon Tax Community Fund Starts on the 3rd of February 2020!
ABLE, which stands for "Ability Beyond Life Experience", will support female Lone Parents aiming to enhance their skills to prepare them for and enable them to move into or closer to the local workforce.
Initial assessment & Action Plan with CCT Adviser
Weekly employability sessions (CV, Interviews, Application forms
Monthly engagement workshop (Money Management, Business Enterprise, Health talk, Confidence building etc)
Relevant soft skills and short courses (First Aid, Health & Safety, Manual Handling & Food Safety)
Mentoring
Regular Jobsearch/ Job club
This project ended in November 2020 and has made a significant impact on participants' lives throughout the pandemic and beyond.
