COVID-19 Adjusment Support Services (CASS)

Updated: Mar 13, 2021

We know how deeply this pandemic has affected so many people and families, especially those within minority ethnic groups.

CCT has developed a project to support individuals and families from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds hard-hit by the pandemic through isolation, job loss and bereavement.

We are here for you with individual and group support/guidance aimed at helping you and your family strengthen relationships, adjust to the new normal and be empowered to make the most of it.

We are offering:

  • Telephone support and regular check-ups for those hard-hit by isolation, loss or who just need valuable guidance

  • Online confidence training to help rebuild an optimistic mentality with which to face the new normal

  • Open forum discussions for finding others with similar experiences of the pandemic and exploring ways of regaining control

  • 1-2-1 employability support and self-employment guidance for those looking to grow their employability and advance their business in the new normal

  • Pastoral Advice and Consultations including:

    • Parental advice

    • Mental Health and Wellbeing Support

    • Self-Esteem Training Consultation

We will also be offering signposting and referrals to services that can help and support you towards thriving in the new normal.

This project concluded in February but CCT continues to support the unemployed.
