Previous Project Success
We are grateful for the recently completed Working Forward Project 2017/2019 in partnership with Gingerbread. The success story has been powerful and crowned with six of our participants who completed the NVQ LEVEL 2 & 3 Supporting Learning and Teaching in Schools and 50% are now in employment while the other three are waiting to be placed. About 70% participants on the programmed gained employment, some went into volunteering within the community, while others seek continuous training to develop their skills and potential and above all, they all gained more confidence in achieving their aim.
What is your goal in 2020?
Write it down
CCT is an approved NCFE CACHE (National Awarding Body) Centre to offer accredited courses. We offer more courses to NVQ Level 1 -3. This has helped a lot of our service users in developing their soft skills, engaging in training within small groups, getting one to one support from the tutors and staff at the centre and achieving certification required for work. The centre had produced participants who qualified as Child Minders, Early Years Educators and Teaching Assistants. There is a waiting list for these courses. Enrol for 2020.

LPRP2 Confidence Building course project
Pictures from Coffee Morning events @ The HeART Community space Pentagon Chatham
On the 13th of July the LPRP2 Confident Building (CB) students surprised themselves and came out with "I can do it" mindset. The students after their CB sessions were given task to organised a coffee morning events for lone parents in the Medway community. The task was to handle the project from start to delivery. "I am more than proud to see the team spirit, creativity, innovation and enthusiasm put into the projects" said the tutor. They had several meetings, invited speakers for healthy talk, Money Management and Business set up, distributed leaflets, prepared and delivered their speeches and on the day moderate the programme. The attendance was very impressive and in fact the most attended. KP couldn't face people before the CB course but at the event she made a speech as she shared her experience with other lone parents and encouraged them to attend the course. She also referred to how CCT had helped her to overcome many barriers. she said "I surprised myself doing this".
