The Lone Parents Resource Project is set up to empower single parents with skills, experience and qualifications. It would also assist them through those step by step stages to move to sustainable employment and making progress in such environment. We aim to give one-to-one support through motivation and confidence building classes where they get involved in various community projects within the centre as a team or project lead. When participants start as a team member we will ensure they progress to the level of project lead which will boost their confidence and ability to face people, situations and solve problems. Also we will help them through coaching and mentoring to work on realistic career goals and identify training path to follow . Where we are not able to deliver such we will signpost them to places that can make the provisions.

This Project was funded by Award for All (Big Lottery Fund) from January to December 2015 for Single Parents of all ages in Medway Kent.
